Ampem Darkoa Ladies, the champions of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League and FA Cup, have been drawn into Group B for the 2023 WAFU Zone B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers. Group B includes tough competition with As Garde from Niger and Friend of the World representing Togo.
In Group A, Union Sportive from Burkina Faso, Athletico from Cote D’Ivoire, and SAM Nelly from Benin will compete against each other. All teams will be vying for a spot in the final of the competition.

The tournament is scheduled to take place in Nigeria from August 18 to 30. The teams that make it to the final will secure a place in the second edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League, which will be held in Ivory Coast later this year.
