The Ga tribe are people who live on Ghana’s southeast coast, and they speak the dialect of the Kwa Branch of Niger-Congo languages.
They descended from immigrants who arrived in the 17th century, crossing the Volta and coming down the Niger River.

Speaking on the Max Morning Show, Manye Tsofayelor, La Agbawe Kplen Traditional Leader, said that “Ghanaian leaders have caused harm to today’s youth.”
This comes in the sense that they haven’t trained their children in a patriotic way, and this has made them not show concern for our country, Ghana.

She went on to advise that parents should teach their children about their heritage and culture to enrich their knowledge.
Adding to that, she talked about Ga’s meaning to their cultural activations (music, dressing, food), of which she mentioned and explained a few.
She asserted that the Ga-speaking people were organized into six different towns (Accra, Osu, Labadi, Teshi, Nungua, and Tema), and every village has a stool, which functions as the focal point of both war magic and Ga ritual.
In history, Accra has gained prominence as the most important Ga town in Ghana.
