Dr. Randy Abbey, president of Heart of Lions, has kept his place on the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
With 12 votes, the football executive won the popular vote and one of the five spots in the Ghana Premier League category.

After receiving 11 and 10 votes respectively, Frederick Acheampong and Nana Sarfo Oduro each kept their position in the Ghana FA Executive Council. Again, with 10 votes, former Ghanaian coach James Kwesi Appiah has also qualified for the Premier League. Appiah ran for office on the ticket of Asante Kotoko .
