Accra Hearts of Oak, a club that has been a pale shadow of itself, announced on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, the dissolution of its board ahead of the next Annual General Meeting.
Following their last league and cup double triumph under former coach Samuel Boadu, the club has not tasted any success nor enjoyed a consistent run of good form.
The club’s announcement on social media comes on the back of a demonstration by frustrated fans of the club calling for changes.
Frank Nelson, who recently revealed the club’s dream of returning to continental football, has been dismissed along with Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, Alhaji Akanbi Brimah, and Vincent Odotei Sowah.
