Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, a former Asante Kotoko midfielder, has signed a one-year contract with Accra Great Olympics.
According to reports, the former Black Stars player has chosen to join Olympics for free.
Agyemang Badu revealed that the unknown club is situated in Accra and has made a sizable offer in July 2022.
Speaking on an Accra-based television station, he said that although his agent is arranging for him to move abroad, if the transaction falls through, he will join a local club.
“My agent is still working on some foreign deal but if that is not sorted out, I’m 120% certain of playing in the Ghana Premier League. At the moment, there’s no offer from Kotoko but there’s an official offer from a club based in Accra.”
The former midfielder with the Black Stars is presently available for employment. He last played for Qingdao F.C. in the Chinese League One in 2021.
