Following a dominating victory over Kotoku Royals on Thursday afternoon, Aduana Stars are expected to maintain their position atop the Ghana Premier League (GPL) standings at the conclusion of Week 12.
The debutants were entertained by the Dormaa-based club today at Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Emmenual Gyamfi scored the equalizer for the home team in the 17th minute of an Aduana Stars-dominated match.
Stephen Anokye Badu scored a goal for the Kotoku Royals in the last seconds of the first half to double the advantage for the home team.
Even though the visitors fought hard in the second half, they were unable to get past their opponent’s defense.
At the conclusion of the whole 90 minutes, Aduana Stars won 2-0 to earn the maximum three points.
With 24 points after the victory, the team maintains its lead in the Ghana Premier League standings.
