Max TV/FM and max.com.gh have launched the inaugural edition of Freedom Month in celebration of 6th March.
Ghana attained freedom from colonial rule on March 6, 1957. As a result, March has been declared Ghana Month to celebrate the history and culture of the nation.

The celebration’s theme, “Max Freedom Jamz,” “Back in the 1950s,” will be carried through a variety of events and programs, encouraging audiences to interact with the diverse components that make up the country’s distinct identity through fun events like fashion shows, live band performances, exhibitions of local foods, traditional games, etc.
Beyond merely commemorating historical occurrences, Max TV and Max FM’s Freedom Month initiative offers Ghanaians an engaging platform to fully engage with the rich and varied facets of their cultural heritage.
As part of this celebration, Imax Media Group dubbed it “Freedom Month,” where the morning show hosts dressed in style.
