Kevin-Prince Boateng, a retired football player from Ghana, accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in Germany.
After performing the holy act, the 36-year-old confirmed his religious vows and turned a new page in his life.
Boateng used social media to celebrate the occasion with his numerous Instagram followers, who number in the millions.
The footballer, who was born in Berlin and has a Ghanaian father, initially represented Germany at the youth level. However, in 2009, he decided to change his nationality and play for Ghana. He competed for the Black Stars in the 2010 World Cup, where they advanced to the quarterfinals.
