A fast-rising gospel musician, Obaapa Gladys, has expressed joy about how Ghanaians are trolling her debut single, “Cobra,” which she released a few days ago.
According to her, the troll has made her song go viral, which has helped her gain recognition.
Speaking in a media interview, the “Cobra” hitmaker said the song has taken the new media by storm and thanked all those who had been making videos with it for it to go viral on TikTok.
“Though they might view the song as senseless, I am happy with how they have accepted it and are having fun with it. This has made me happy because it has made the song go viral beyond imagination,” she stated.
Explaining her song, Obaapa Gladys said the song was sung to create awareness about the true nature of some individuals “we make friends with and speak to.”
She said some would listen when the message is good; they secretly destroy the good things that are coming “your way” and bite “you with their venom when you least expected.”
Obaapa Gladys also revealed that she was coming up with a new track titled “Alligator,” in which she featured Nicholas Omane Acheampong, and urged Ghanaians to continue supporting and streaming her song.
