Sarkodie praised Amakye Dede in an X post on Tuesday when he recounted the best collaboration that brought him an honor in the industry.
“He was a global icon even before I was brought to this world, and he’s still an icon… As a toddler, listening to his amazing music and now being on the same song with him is a great honor. He’s collaborated with no one, and I happen to be the first!! Thank you, Daddy,” he said.
Being the first artiste the “Iron Boy” singer has ever collaborated with on a new song “Fool for You,” which was released on Friday, December 1, at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic exhibition, made the rapper feel fulfilled.
The track not only showcased the versatility of both artistes but also symbolized the bridging of musical gaps, uniting different eras of Ghanaian music.
