MAX ENTERTAINMENT: Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy feud rekindled over booking of Accra Sports stadium for December concerts

Date:

The seemingly feud between dancehall musicians, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy has resuscitated following a misunderstanding over the booking of Accra Sports Stadium for their respective shows slated for December.

It could be recalled that Shatta Wale in early September announced on social media that he is organising a concert at the stadium on December 25, 2023.

A flier he posted lined up activities which would mark the event from Wednesday, December 20 to December 25.

However, the “On God hitmaker” felt he has been sabotaged when Stonebwoy earlier this week announced his yearly Bhim concert which would also take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on December.

Shatta Wale yesterday in a Facebook live video condemned the “Into the future” hitmaker and his management team for coming in between his scheduled concert with rapper Medikal at the Sports Stadium.

He insinuated that the authorities of the stadium were influenced to permit Stonebwoy’s concert to hold three days before his and expressed concern about using less than three days to do a good set up at the stadium.

Shatta Wale said the authorities had earlier told his team that it took three days to get a good production set up for a concert at the the place which meant that the recent developments would jeopardize the beautiful concert set up he planned for the show.

“And so was quite confused at the decision of this same stadium authorities granting Stonebwoy the permission to host his concert on December 22,” he added.
