Three names have come up as potential replacements for the under-fire Accra Hearts of Oak coach, Martinus Koopman, following his outbursts after his side drew blank once again against FC Samartex last Sunday in the BetPawa Premier League.
Charles Akonnor
A return to Hearts of Oak could be on the cards for former Black Stars coach C.K. Akonnor. The former Bundesliga star had reportedly never hidden his desire to return to the club due to his massive love for it.

Yaw Preko
A former assistant coach of the club during the time of Japanese instructor Kenichi Yatsuhashi is currently not involved in any managerial duty and would love a crack at one of the most difficult coaching jobs in Ghanaian football, coaching Hearts of Oak.
Having been considered a coach with great man-management skills during his time as coach of Hearts of Oak’s rivals, Accra Great Olympics, before his sudden departure from the club, Preko, who is also a former player of the club, would be preferred by most fans of the Rainbow club.
Mas-Ud Didi Dramani
His rich coaching experience will make him a favorite for the job, should it become available.
The Black Galaxies coach also serves as one of the assistant coaches for Black Stars coach Chris Hughton.

He previously served as coach for the Black Maidens of Ghana, leading them to third place at the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. He also led Asante Kotoko to the Ghana Super Cup, Ghana FA Cup, and Ghana Premier League titles from 2012 to 2014.
Dramani joined the Black Stars after leaving the technical team of Danish club FC Nordsjælland, where he joined in 2019.
