Gospel icon, Nhyira Betty has called on fellow musicians to fortify themselves spiritually to withstand principalities forming against them in the industry.
According to her, music is spiritual and when one does not fervently pray, the person might open doors for the enemies to enter to make him or her bow out before his or her time.

Giving a detailed account on how music and spirituality work on Max Morning Dew in Accra on Wednesday, Nhyira Betty said there were some individuals in the industry or within one’s circle who might not want to see the artiste progress.
The person, she noted would therefore start attacking the artiste spiritually and physically with an aim to kill the ministry.
“Some might not even use ‘juju’ but will be reciting doom prayers just to bring your ministries down,” Nhyira Betty added.
She therefore charged musicians to be prayerful and to take their spiritual life seriously in order to endure trials, spiritual attacks and to progress as well as bolstering their life expectencies.
