The goal of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, according to Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, is to reach two million visitors by 2026.
In the process, the ministry promises to completely revamp the nation’s tourism industry and generate 150,000 new jobs annually.

Dr. Awal, during the signing of a memorandum of understanding with GUMA Group, said, “Two million arrivals can give a minimum of US$6 billion.”
In addition, he said that the ministry wants to draw attention to the many tourist attractions in the nation in addition to placing value on them.
He expressed gratitude to GUMA Group for placing their trust and confidence in the nation and assuring them of the security of their investments. He also mentioned that this is the most peaceful country in West Africa and the world, with plenty of possibilities for investment.
