The leading soap opera station, Max TV, will officially end the story of an extraordinary infidelity tale, Two Wives, on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.
The story, which began last Monday, October 9, sees the character evolution of Yvonne and Janine, who became wives and mistresses in their bid to be with Victor.
Yvonne is the wife of Victor, whom he divorced and married his mistress, Janine, but an accident that happened during the road to their honeymoon tragically ended their precious love.
Victor suffers from anterograde amnesia, and he could only remember his first wife, Yvonne, and his son, Marcus, while he could not recall his current wife, Janine, or his daughter, Audrey.
Dale, the first lover of Janine, who happens to be Audrey’s father, learns about Janine’s marriage to Victor and sets his eyes on him to get him out of his way so that he can finally reunite with his estranged girlfriend.
He hits Victor with his car, and that begins a turning phase in Victor’s life. He recalls his past and decides to make amends with his abandoned family to embrace the second chance that life has given him.
In so doing, he officially announced to his current wife, Janine, that he wants to fix his life, so he is ending things. This does not sit down well with Janine, and she files a concubinage lawsuit against Victor and an alienation of affection charge against Yvonne while filing accessories charges against Victor’s mother and sister for conniving with Victor’s ex-wife to snatch her husband.
Victor is found guilty and sentenced to six years of imprisonment; however, his sentence gets reduced to six months when he is diagnosed with a brain tumor. While in prison, his lawyer facilitates his divorce with Janine, but the current wife refuses to make him return to Yvonne, especially when Audrey is kidnapped by his father and has no resources to push through a legal case against her estranged boyfriend for kidnapping her daughter.
The basket ball star Kenjie, who is equally interested in Janine, starts a private investigation in an attempt to find Audrey, Janine’s real mother, who abandoned her daughter years ago.
Kenjie’s investigation yields results and finds Minerva, the mother of Janine, to be part of Janine’s life. Marcus celebrates her eleventh birthday, and his father is set free. Victor uses that occasion to propose to marry his ex-wife again, but Janine has her own plans to throw the lovers apart.
She soon kidnaps Marcus but finds it pity to return the boy when a call from Audrey changes her mood. Yvonne begins a search for her son, and in her devastating mood, Janine returns Marcus, and the boy reveals how Janine rescues him after an accident and hopes his father and mother will make up with her.
Minerva, who has discovered the deeds of Janine, also appeared at the scene when her long-dead mortal enemy appeared from nowhere to settle her scores with the mother and daughter. However, Victor gets in the way and is hit by a stray bullet.
Will Victor make it alive? Catch all the fun as we end this series tomorrow on Max TV at 7:00 p.m.
