The two, together with Ernest Nuamah, were supposed to have joined the national U-23 team afterwards for their training tour in Egypt before they jetted off to Morocco, where the competition will be held.
However, reports in the indigenous media this morning say the two players, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ransford Yeboah Königsdôrffer, have all pulled out, with the reasons yet to be determined.
Ibrahim Tanko’s men have been in intensive training since arriving in Cairo and have already played out a stalemate with defending champions Egypt in a friendly a couple of days ago.
Also, they are billed to face African giants Zamalek SC in another friendly this afternoon.
