Stoppila Sunzu, the defender who scored the game-winning penalty as Zambia won the 2012 African Cup of Nations, is back for the competition after being named as one of his nation’s 27 players for the tournament in the Ivory Coast that takes place next month.
In the 2012 Libreville final, Zambia defeated the highly favored Ivory Coast 8–7 in spot kicks thanks to a penalty kick by Sunzu. Coach Avram Grant chose him as one of just two players with prior finals experience on Saturday.
