The Ghana Supporters Union has refuted reports of them threatening to return to Ghana if the $400 promised to them isn’t paid.
The group is currently in Abidjan to cheer on the Black Stars at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Reports circulated on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, that the group was making threats to organizing officials to leave the land of ivory for Ghana if the money promised to them wasn’t paid.
Abraham Nkansah, aka ‘Apirugu Chakapam,’ debunked such reports, claiming they were completely false and insisting they had been well taken care of by organizing officials.

He also stated the said amount given to them was not because of threats of boycott but just a regular distribution by the Ministry of Sports, and he assured the Union is firmly behind the Back Stars.
