Announcing this, the President of the Union, Bessa Simons, said his outfit had collaborated with the Akwaaba Festival to organize the show at the forecourt of the National Theatre.
“What we are doing is having the young, up-and-coming musicians who don’t normally have big stages, lights, or a Facebook thing for them come and showcase their talents,” he noted.

Bessa Simons indicated that those in the corporate world would be invited to watch the talent exhibition if they could invest in any of the crafts, adding that “these are the future we have.”
He also mentioned that on March 5, there would be a music and tourism workshop as well as health screening for musicians at the Accra Tourist Information Centre.
MUSIGA also intended to initiate a project dubbed Let’s Play Ghana Music on March 11, 2024, to rekindle people’s love for Ghanaian music.
