PARIS 2024: We will do our best to qualify for Paris – Janet Egyir

Date:

Janet Egyir, the deputy captain of the Black Queens, has said that the team will strive to defeat Guinea later today.

In the opening match of the first round of the African qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, the Ghana women’s senior national team plays Guinea.

The Black Queens are motivated to defeat the opposition, stated defender Janet Egyir during the pre-game press conference on Thursday.

“Tomorrow’s game is a mission we want to accomplish. It is going to be one step close to our mission. The target is to find our way back to the top,” Janet Egyir said.

The Black Queens deputy captain continued, “We will do all that we can to build that and also to qualify for the Olympic Games in Paris.”

The tie between Guinea and Ghana is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 GMT at Stade de Generale Lansana Conte.
