The world’s most expensive female footballer, Rachel Kundananji, is upbeat about her country’s upcoming Olympic Games qualifiers on Friday, February 23, 2024.
Though she admitted facing the Black Queens away in Accra would be an arduous task, the former Madrid CFF star remains adamant about the Copper Queens’ chances of victory over their opponents.

“Playing away is very difficult, but we have the advantage, and we have to use it. Winning that match, or even if it is not winning, coming back with a point is better, and when we come back here, we finish the job,” she told FAZ, the official media channel of the Zambian Football Federation.
Rachel Kundananji also revealed her side’s eagerness and determination to render a good account of themselves in Paris after a disastrous display at the Tokyo 2020 games.
“We want to qualify because we want to go and do what we failed to do last time,” said the new Bay FC player.
The crucial qualifier will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium at 5 p.m., with free admission for fans.
