The President of the Ghana Olympic Committee, Ben Nunoo Mensah, has pledged to add to the incentives of the Black Queens as they prepare to face the Copper Queens of Zambia in a qualifying round for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The owed bonuses to the Black Queens by the Ministry of Youth and Sports has been the most trending issue in Ghana for the past few days.

The have been speculations of a planned boycott of the game by the Black Queens if their bonuses are not settled before the game on Friday, February 23, 2024.
Gifty Oware-Mensah, the Chair of the Black Queens Management Committee, reportedly met with the team on Wednesday to assure the bonuses would be paid. Her assurance has been topped by the President of the Ghana Olympic Committee also promising to add to their bonuses and advised them to fully focused on the crucial tie against the tricky Zambians.
