Roxanne went to see her uncle’s angry corpse at the morgue. Meanwhile, Romina relived her recent ordeal and woke up with a start at the hospital. Cassie was glad her mom had finally woken up, and Mina promised not to let anyone take her away from her. She then narrated her ordeal and mentioned Daniela’s involvement.
Kristoff brought Cassie a gift and told her about the talent hunt some reps of Crimson College of Arts would be conducting, encouraging her to check it out. Some officers came to pick up Daniela to question her regarding Romina’s abduction.

Cassie was considering joining the talent test though she still worried about their safety, yet hoping that things would turn out well so she could fulfil her dreams. The police interrogated Daniela about her involvement in Romina’s abduction, and as usual, she lied her way out of it.
Kristoff was glad that Cassie had decided to join the talent contest. He promised to be her number 1 supporter. Meanwhile, Roxy was sobbing at her uncle’s gravesite while the police were on the lookout for Hector.
Upset that Daniela had gotten away with her crimes yet again, Romina went at her when she came to mock her in her hospital room. As Bernard and the others separated them, a battle of words ensued.
Finding out that Cassie was going to Crimson College after ‘ruining’ her life, bratty daughter started throwing a fit like the spoilt brat she was, even going to the extent of destroying Cassie’s painting. Having had enough, Cassie shoved her to the floor. Enter despicable mother who came to shove Cassie down in retaliation, twisting her wrist.

After having her hand treated and restricted in an arm cast, Cassie was sobbing, scared of losing her ability to paint. Romina promised that she would fulfill her dreams because she’d support her all the way.
“I will make sure Daniela pays for everything she’s done to both of us,” Mina vowed. Especially for hurting you after what happened to your father.”
“What do you mean by that, mamma?”
“Alvin told me something before he died; he said Daniela is our real enemy, and she’s responsible for so many things.”
“Do you think she has something to do with dad’s death?” Cassie asked.
“The only way to find out the truth for sure is to expose all of Daniela’s remaining secrets.”
Over the phone, Neil told nanny Esther of how Daniela had injured Cassie’s hand on account of Cassie and Marga’s fight earlier. Carlos arrived home just then to overhear. He asked Neil about it and he reaffirmed it.
Daniela told psycho Eva about Romina being alive and recovering at the hospital. Meanwhile, Romina was determined to make Daniela pay for all her crimes. “Hector must also rot behind bars. And Daniela will be the key to accomplishing that.”
Carlos confronted his bratty daughter about what had happened to Cassie, and she spouted some crap I didn’t bother listening to. Despicable mother came to back up her bratty daughter.
Daniela visited her baby at the vacant lot, bringing along a gift (a doll) and even lighting a candle. As she wailed on and on, Romina looked on discreetly. She soon had a text message from an unknown number.
At the hospital, psycho Eva, disguised as a nurse, neutralized the useless bodyguards and sneaked into the chapel where Cassie sat in contemplation. Meanwhile, Romina confronted Daniela, asking what she was doing at the vacant lot.
Psycho Eva gave Cassie the shock of her life when she made her presence known. She asked her about her injured arm. Meanwhile, Neil found the useless, unconscious bodyguards and rushed into the chapel.
“How did you hurt your arm, sweetie?” Psycho Eva was asking.
Neil came upon the scene and called out for security. The madwoman slipped away yet again. Neil later called his sister and informed her of the situation.
Still in a nurse’s disguise, psycho Eva found out that Marga and her mother were the cause of Cassie’s injury. A moment later, Romina arrived at the hospital and revealed the strange occurrence with Daniela at the vacant lot. She then showed Cassie and Neil the message she had received earlier : “Daniela has a secret about her child.” Romina was certain that it was about her baby so she decided to find out the truth and use it to get Hector’s current hideout out of Daniela.
Carlos had a call from Romina, asking that they meet up. Meanwhile, Marga ran into psycho Eva, who held her hostage.
“What you did to Cassie,” the madwoman growled. “I’m going to punish you. Why did you do that to my daughter?”
Marga cried out for help. Coming out of nowhere, Mikoy shoved Eva aside and ran off with Marga.
“Come back here right now!” Eva yelled. “You horrible little brat!!” Eva chased them down, right around a parked truck by the road. “Why did you hurt my daughter? You hurt my poor little girl. I’ll punish you.”
Mikoy and Marga escaped, only to run into Kulas. Psycho Eva soon caught up with them, determined to punish Marga for hurting her ‘daughter’. Kulas chased her away. “You lunatic. You’re a crazy woman.”
“Is Carlitos really your son?” Romina asked Carlos. Carlos didn’t want to hear any of it. Mina then told him about the text message she had received. “Where were you when she gave birth? Who was she with? Was it Hector?”
“No. Hector wasn’t there.”
“Just tell me which hospital she went to. Let’s see if my information about your son is right or wrong.”
“No.”
After Carlos walked away, Romina called up Esther and asked of the hospital Daniela had supposedly delivered Carlitos. A moment later at the hospital, Carlos tried stopping Romina from proceeding with her plan. “So many people have gotten hurt. So many lives have been ruined.”
“And mine was the first,” Romina shot back. That’s why I’m putting an end to this. Will you run away again like what you did to me before? Or will you man up and face the problem?”
