Berekum Chelsea head coach, Samuel Boadu has voiced his desire to see Dreams FC lift the CAF Confederation Cup in their maiden season.
The former Hearts of Oak head coach wants additional slots in the competition for Ghanaian clubs, hence his reason to see coach Karim Zito’s side ride to glory.
Karim Zito and his boys will battle Stade Malien in Bamako, Mali, in the quarter-finals first leg on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
“I know Dreams FC to be a good team, especially Karim Zito, who is my father in coaching,” Boadu stated in a radio interview.
“It is my hope Dreams FC wins the CAF Confederation Cup so that we can get additional slots.”
Samuel Boadu’s ride in the CAF Champions League qualifying round to the money zone was one to forget, as they were taught footballing by Wydad Athletic Club in Morocco.
