On Thursday, representatives of the Black Sharks Management Committee paid a visit to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, the team’s home training facility.
The group, which was led by Kingsley Osei Bonsu, the chairman of the management committee, was in Prampram to inspire the players ahead of Saturday’s AFCON qualifier.
Before leaving for Cairo for the return leg, the Black Sharks will play the Sand Pharaohs in the first leg match on Saturday at 3pm at Laboma Beach.
Kingsley Osei Bonsu, head of the management committee, asked the players to give it their all in order to advance to the following round during a meeting with them.
“We are here to encourage you and to assure you that the GFA and the entire nation is behind you.
“As a national team, we expect that when you go out there on Saturday you will make the entire nation proud.
“We know it will be a tough challenge but let’s do our best to qualify for the next stage,” the Management Committee chairman emphasized.
Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, deputy chairman of the committee, George Wiredu, George Darko, and Nana Kwame Danquah were also part of the delegation.
Prior to their crucial match on Saturday, the Black Sharks have been practicing at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.
