The Ghanaian rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, also known as M. anifest, has partially allayed the nation’s curiosity about why Tsatsu Tsikata, son of one of Ghana’s well-known lawyers, chose to pursue a career in music rather than follow in his father’s legal career.
M.Anifest revealed in an interview with a Ghanaian TV station that he has always been interested in the legal field because he comes from a family of attorneys.
“It’s not too late. If I wanted to be a lawyer, I will not be an Entertainment Lawyer. I will be a different kind of Lawyer” he said.
Despite his interest in the legal field, M.anifest also admitted that he hasn’t had a desire to practice law for more over ten years.
“I’ve never detested the law. It was just not my path necessarily but never rule it out. One might just have a different mindset”.
He stated that people’s life would not always be free of difficulties and gave some suggestions to individuals working in the creative sector.
“To all the creatives out there, it is important as much as you do things that you love and you do it over and over again. You take breaks before you become monotonous before you go on autopilot,” he added.
