Karim Zito, the head coach of Dreams FC, has said that while he is unhappy his side didn’t earn more points against Karela United, they will undoubtedly bounce back with a victory in their upcoming match.
On Saturday in a match from week twenty of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), Karela United and Dreams Football Club fought hard against one another.
Since the start of the 2022–23 Ghanaian top-flight league season, the two teams have had difficulties.
The away team lined up beautifully and played excellent defense as they really needed the three points to move further away from the relegation zone.
Karela United simply did enough to ensure that the team would not concede, despite the fact that Dreams FC will play well.
The game at the Theatre of Dreams finished scoreless despite excellent efforts from both teams.
“I am very happy you saw how I changed the system which tell you that definitely I needed a goal. And that was where we created that chance so Gawu did not have patience it is a simple tap or pass it to Ali to tap in,” coach Zito said after the game.
“But you know inexperience is part of it at the end of the day it is better than you losing at all so we will go back to the drawing board and then come back again. We are going to play Accra Lions we are going to surprise them,”
