The girls from Dansoman are unbeaten in their last six games. Ridge City lost 4-1 to Faith Ladies at home in their first-round fixture, with Maafia Nyame netting two goals. A win for the away side will not change their position on the table.
Ladystrikers will welcome league leaders, Hasaacas Ladies at the Robert Mensah Stadium on Saturday. Hasaacas Ladies need three maximum points to cement their position as winners of the Southern zone whereas the home side needs points to avoid the drop as they lie two places above the relegation zone with 20 points.
Relegation-threatened Thunder Queens will travel to Madina to face Berry Ladies at the Madina Astro Turf on Monday. Berry Ladies have maintained good form in most parts of the second round of the season.
Northern Zone
Fabulous Ladies travel to the Aliu Mahama sports stadium to face an in-form Northern Ladiez side. The away side lie 9th on the Northern zone log with 13 points.
A loss for Ashtown Ladies will enhance second-placed Pearlpia Ladies’ chances of winning the Northern Zone. They are level on points with leaders and last season’s champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies will battle Supreme Ladies at the Bantama Astro Turf on Sunday. Ampem Darkoa will be hoping to clinch the Northern zone with a win and a better goal difference. The champions are tied at the top with Pearlpia Ladies but lead the table on goal difference.
