Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and George Boateng have been retained by the Ghana Football Association as members of the Black Stars’ technical staff.
Chris Hughton’s appointment as the new leader of the technical staff for the Ghana national team was announced by the Ghana FA on Sunday.
Otto Addo, who departed the position after guiding the Black Stars to a group stage finish at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar last year, is being replaced by Hughton.
The German coach left his position to continue working as the giants Borussia Dortmund’s talent development coach.
Hughton was a member of the national team for the tournament in Qatar and served as a technical advisor during the World Cup playoff matchup against Nigeria.
Dramani and Boateng, who were in the squad for the tournament in Qatar, assisted Addo during the World Cup play-off against Nigeria.
The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications between the Black Stars and Angola will take place in a doubleheader in March.
Next month, Ghana will play host to Angola at the Cape Coast Stadium in their third group match; Luanda’s Estadio 11 de Novembro will host the rematch.
