The transition in roles is set to occur on June 26, with Rihanna remaining at the company as an executive chair. Additionally, in an Instagram post, Super announced that she would also be serving as a board member of the company alongside her role as CEO.
Hillary Super has an extensive background in the fashion industry, with over three decades of experience. She describes herself on LinkedIn as a CEO with a track record of transformational leadership, vision, and profitable growth. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in humanities. Super began her career as a buyer for Wet Seal in the late 1990s and has since held positions at various renowned brands such as Gap, Ann Taylor, New York and Company, American Eagle, and Guess. Prior to joining Savage X Fenty, she served as the global CEO of Anthropologie Group for over four years. In 2017, Forbes recognized her as one of the 40 women to watch over 40.
