Management of Afrobeat singer, Wendy Shay has finally broken silence on the artiste’s car accident which occured on Sunday midnight around 12:00am at the ACP and Kwabenya stretch road.
According to a statement released today in Accra and signed by Ricky Nana Agyeman popularly known as Bullet, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ruff Town records, the singer survived the fatal accident and is currently responding to treatment.
“The accident occurred on Sunday September 10, around 12 midnight at the ACP Kwabenya high road when a Tipper Truck hit the singer’s car from the back,” management explained.
The singer, the statement said was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she received prompt medical attention.
“According to the latest medical reports, Wendy Shay is in a stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery,” it added.
Management expressed gratitude to fans and everyone who supported the artiste in her trial times and urged them to continue praying for her.
It also expressed willingness to keep the public updated on her progress.
