Ghana defender, Daniel Amartey has completed his move to The seasoned center back agreed to a two-year deal with the Turkish superpower, plus an additional year.
The 28-year-old left Premier League club Leicester City after seven years and signed with Besiktas as a free agent.
The center-back made an impressive debut with Leicester, taking home the league championship in his first year. Additionally, he had a key impact on the club’s FA Cup victory over Chelsea in 2021.

Amartey’s exit from Leicester had been followed by rumors of a possible transfer to Celtic. The rumors started because of his prior connections to Brendan Rodgers, his former coach at Leicester City and current Celtic manager.
Amartey joins Besiktas as they pursue success on the domestic and international stage by bringing his expertise and defensive acumen.
