Five Ghanaian clubs stand to earn after providing more than $560,000 worth of players to the Black Stars’ World Cup campaign.
The 837 players competing in Qatar 2022 will each receive information about their club salaries on Thursday morning, according to reports from Fifa.
The five Ghanaian clubs that will receive compensation for this are Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, Steadfast FC, King Faisal, and Dreams FC.
The Phobians will reportedly have the most amount, followed by Asante Kotoko and Steadfast FC. The money will be equal between King Faisal and Dreams FC.
Each World Cup participant will be eligible for $10,000 every day spent on official business in Qatar, it was confirmed months before the event. According to the upcoming report, the exact amount will be $10,950.
The beneficiary club will get the funds after each member association has received them.
