Multiple award-winning rapper Okyeame Kwame says his decision to obtain a professional Master’s in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is to prepare himself adequately for the future after he bows out of the industry.
This is the second master’s certificate the musician has obtained in his academic adventure.

Speaking in a media interview after graduating from the Institute of Paralegal Training and Leadership Studies (IPSL) together with his wife Annica, the rap doctor said he wanted to be a teacher after he bowed out of the industry.
“I was preparing myself for my old age in order for me not to be found wanting when the industry takes a downturn. The idea is that once I become old, straight up I become a teacher. That is why, in my prime years, I am learning and obtaining necessary certificates for it,” he said.
Okyeame Kwame, while he was enrolled in IPSL, saw that the course was relevant for his wife to learn since she liked conflict and made her register for it as well for them to properly handle their marital disputes.
He said both of them graduated on March 6 and now had to delve into apprenticeship at the court for six months in their bid to become members of the National ADR Association.

Okyeame Kwame was hopeful that the court would set up an ADR center for him to handle the industry “beef” and not escalate to reach radio and social media for the betterment of the industry.
Touching on the relevance of the course, he said it helps one to resolve conflicts among countries, businesses, and even marriage, and expressed joy for obtaining an ADR certificate.
“The course was informative and practical, and all the instructors were friendly, helpful, and respectful. We’re truly excited about the possibilities this new knowledge opens up for us,” he added.
