Today at the Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco, the national teams of West Africa and Central America squared off against one another.
This is Ghana’s second international game of the month of September.
Otto Addo, the head coach of Ghana, utilized the game as a practice match for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup to experiment with new players and strategies.
The Black Stars had the lead at the end of the first half in a match they utterly dominated.
It was all down to Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s thunderbolt shot, which deflected and found its way into the goal.
After the break, the Ghanaian squad continued to play well and produced a number of excellent opportunities in an effort to score more goals.
Unfortunately, the team’s efforts fell short of producing a goal. At the end of the 90 minutes, the Ghanaian national team managed to win by a slim 1-0 margin.
