Gifty Oware-Mensah, the chairperson of the Black Queens Management Committee, has voiced her faith in the Youth and Sports Minister’s resolve to pay the bonuses that the Black Queens are due.
There have been increasing worries about bonuses in relation to the senior national women’s team of Ghana ahead of the clash against Zambia.

Following reports that Gifty Oware-Mensah had suggested the Black Stars are the Ghana Football Association’s main product, she clarified that her remarks had been misinterpreted and blamed it on unethical reporting.
She declared that Hon. Mustapha Ussif is committed to paying off the bonuses before Ghana’s Olympic qualifying match against Zambia.
