Chelsea FC fans must be peeved at manager Mauricio Pochettino’s post-match comments following his side’s 2-2 away draw against Sheffield United.
The Blues gave up a winning advantage as they conceded a 93rd equalizer against the Blades at Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon after a momentous mid-week win over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Pochettino, visibly frustrated at his team’s ill luck, stated that Chelsea, consisting of some of the most expensive signings and experienced defender Thiago Silva, may just not be mature enough to compete.

“At 52, you identify really quickly whether the team is ready to compete or not,” he told reporters after the game.
“Maybe this group is not mature enough to compete in games every three days.

“It’s a new team and we are still learning about their profiles. The process always takes time”.
