Prosper Narteh Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, wants Franck Mbella Etouga of Cameroon to remain with the team.

After a successful stint with the Porcupine Warriors, Franck Etouga has been linked with a transfer to clubs abroad.

Coach Prosper Narteh, however, wants the club to keep the player for the CAF Champions League despite interest from other clubs in signing the player.

“I want Franck Etouga to stay at Kotoko. That is my wish,” Ogum said .

“I now know and understand my players and vice versa so I want most of them to stay at Kotoko going to Africa although I understand the business aspect of football,” he added.

In his debut Ghana Premier League (GPL) Championship season, Franck Etouga scored 21 goals, which helped Asante Kotoko win the league in 2021–2022.
