On Saturday, February 18, 2023, Christian Atsu’s wife and kids were at Saint James Park for Newcastle United’s match versus Liverpool.
This family has now made their first public appearance after it was claimed that they were invited to the club’s pregame tribute to a former player.
Marie-Claire Rupio, a German, was Atsu’s wife. They got married in 2012 and have three kids together—two boys and a girl.
On English Premier League matchday 24, Rupio and her two sons attended Saint James Park to watch the Magpies play Liverpool.
Atsu spent four years playing in Newcastle before moving to Al-Raed in Saudi Arabia; the family resides there.
The 31-year-current old’s team, Hatayspor, declared him dead on Saturday, February 18, 2023, establishing that he had been discovered dead following the catastrophic earthquake that struck Turkey on February 6, 2023.
