Before the upcoming season, Tamale City, a newcomer to the Ghana Premier League (GPL), named Mohammed Abdul Wahid as their new head coach.
Abdul Wahid signs a two-year contract to join the Tamale-based team after stints with Legon Cities.
Hamza Mohammed, who led the squad to success in gaining promotion to Ghana’s top division, will be at his side.
Because Hamza Mohammed lacks the necessary license to manage in the Ghana league, he has been given the position of assistant coach.
On September 9, the betPawa Ghana Premier League will begin.
On the opening weekend of the GPL, Karela United will visit Tamale City.
