Helena visits Gabriel at his office, she tells him that she has heard the judge will give his final judgment on Elliceβs case and why didnβt he give her his support. Gabriel said Ellice is with her mom and she always thinks he is on Marissaβs side but he will always support Ellice.
However, if it turns out that Lucing and Marissa have shares in CeΓ±idoza then the shares should be given back to them and donβt understand why Ellice is involving Jake in this mess. Helena said Ellice is only doing that because Jake is Marissaβs son
In the court room, the judge considered the case and the documents of Marissa to be lacking so the motion is hereby denied as Belen claps and smiles. Ellice becomes happy as Belen congratulates and hugs her while Cesar sits there smiling there smiling. Cesar then flashbacks to when he visited the Judge to threaten him to rule in Elliceβs favor.
Lucing and Marissa break down in tears for losing the case but Marissa assures Lucing it isnβt over yet because the war has only begun.
At the CeΓ±idoza Mansion, Ellice thanked Belen for her support since she couldnβt have won without her and thanked her for coming back at the perfect time.
Belen tells her she is glad to be back and she will never let Marissa and Ellice ever win against them but Ellice tells her she knows Marissa well and she wonβt stop until she gets what she wants.
Marissa and Lucing arrive at the Condo, Lucing tells Marissa that she should have listened to her because when Belen returned she noticed there was something suspicious about her. Marissa promises her that she will do everything to get whatever the CeΓ±idozas owe them and also get them justice as they hug.
At College, Jake texted Hope that he wished he was besides her and she replied that she doesnβt understand why they are being dragged into all these mess and Jake tells her to cheer up. Later, Jake meets Gabriel at the college entrance. He apologized to Jake for the way Ellice treated him because he is his son and deserves to be with his sister so promise to do something about it.
At the CeΓ±idoza Mansion, Ellice receives a call from Pinky telling her that thereβs a news spreading against CeΓ±idoza and she has sent her the link to check it out. Ellice then checks it on her laptop and becomes angry.
At College, the students gossip about Hope being a fake princess so Chari shows her the news spreading that her mom is a fake Queen. Hope confronts the students and tells them to mind their business. Elsewhere, RJ receives a call from one of his friends asking if he has heard about Jakeβs restraining order meaning he canβt go near Hope.
Ellice arrives at CeΓ±idoza, she said she knew this will happen and if Marissa thinks that her plans will bring her down then she is mistakenly. Elsewhere at La Sierra the press follows Marissa asking her to tell them more about her post and she said she wonβt tell them anything about the post but she will take back whatever CeΓ±idozas took from them as she excuses them while Belenβs spy listens.
Marissa enters her office, she asks Avel if he has something to say about what she did because he has a frown on his face and Avel tells her to change her style and now that she knows the truth she should use it as he leaves.
The press goes to CeΓ±idoza to question Ellice about Marissaβs accusations but she refutes all the claims and tells them that Marissa was fired from her company in the past and even though she wonβt disclose why she was fired they should know that Marissa is a liar and she and her family have done nothing but attack her family and only fight for something that doesnβt belong to them.
In class, Hope calls Jake telling him that she is tired of Ellice and Marissa fighting and asks when they will stop fighting and Jake says not anytime soon. Hope tells him he is the only one who understands her and Jake assures her that he is always on her side as RJ enters the class.
Gabriel visits Lucing at the Condo and she is glad about Gabrielβs visit. Gabriel tells her that he heard what happened and heβs sorry because he doesnβt know what to do for Ellice to listen to him and he fears the trouble Belen might bring to them.
Belen meets up with Cesar, she tells him that she canβt believe Marissa is dragging the press into the situation. Cesar said he already told her that Marissa isnβt predictable and itβs not easy to get rid of her and asked if she wants her dead but Belen said he should only scare her.
When Marissa arrived home, Jake asked how she was feeling because she saw the interview and she told him they wouldnβt let the CeΓ±idozaβs rattle them because the truth is on their side and it will come out in the end. Jake thanks Avel for always protecting Marissa.
At the CeΓ±idoza mansion, Ellice tells Gabriel that they were somehow able to contain Marissaβs attack against her company and the lies she said about her dad. Gabriel then tells her how sorry he is for Lucing after visiting her but Ellice gets angry at him for visiting Lucing and asks if he trusts them more than his own wife. Gabriel asks her if she even asks for his opinion when taking decisions or only hates people opposing her.
RJ goes to the CeΓ±idoza mansion looking for Ellice but he meets her absence and Belen asks him what he wants. RJ tells her that he has been seeing Hope and Jake together at the University and Belen asks if he has proof that way the restraining order will become permanent. RJ said he will get her the evidence and Belen later calls Ellice to inform her.
In the evening, Ellice scolds Hope and tells her that if Jake keeps violating his restraining order he will get arrested and that will be the consequences of her disobedience. Hope believes Ellice is being unreasonable and tells her to stop controlling her life because she loves Jake and he is still his brother so wants to be close to him asking Ellice to leave.
Cesar orders Red to have a hit on Marissa since he already has her schedule and must do it without any trace as Red leaves and Cesar smiles. Elsewhere at La Sierra, Avel noticed a bike man monitoring them and protects Marissa from Redβs attacks. When they entered the building, Marissa tells Tutti that someone tried to kill her so Avel tells her to be extra careful. Marissa promises to make sure that her enemies donβt succeed.
At the Condo, Lucing serves Jake and Avel some food and leaves. Jake asks for Avelβs help concerning the restraining order against him and Avel offered to help and tells him that if he hadnβt said Hope was his half-sister he would have thought they were dating because of the way he talks about her.
During an examination at college, Hope and Jake admire each other as RJ spies in them. Jake submitted his examination sheet and leaves. Later the Lecturer called Jake to his office and questions him for cheating since he saw a booklet in his answer sheet. Jake said he didnβt cheat as RJ spies on them smiling.
Jake is called to the Deanβs office and the dean makes it clear to him that they donβt tolerate any kind of cheating in their university so he is suspended for a week for malpractice. Elsewhere, Chari, Alfred and Hope canβt believe that Jake cheated in the examination. Alfred said he believes that someone framed him for that mess as Hope leaves.
Belen was impressed with what RJ did and offered to get him anything he wanted but RJ said he wants nothing and is only satisfied that he got back at Jake. RJ then flashbacks to how he framed up Jake.
At their Condo, Jake tells Marissa to believe in him because he didnβt cheat. Marissa tells him not to worry because she believes him as Hope arrives that her mom has something to do with what happened to Jake but faints midway and they all hurriedly rush her to the hospital.
Marissa and her family were taking care of Hope at the hospital when Ellice and Gabriel arrive. Ellice becomes angry seeing them and attacks Jake but Marissa defends her son because it was Hope who came to their house and she came to tell them that Ellice had something to do with Jakeβs suspension but Ellice denies it.
Marissa tells her to be thankful they were able to bring Hope to the hospital on time if not something bad might have happened and calls her an ingrate as they leave and Belen smiles after seeing how helpless Ellice and Gabriel are looking at Hope.
Marissa gets angry when they arrive home and canβt believe how ungrateful Ellice is after they took her daughter to the hospital. Lucing tells her not to worry but whatβs important is that they were able to save Hope in time.
Hope regains consciousness at the hospital and the doctor tells them that Hope needs to stay there longer for observation and more tests to be conducted on her and itβs because she is showing symptoms of Acute myeloid leukemia which cancer of the blood shocking Ellice, Gabriel and Hope.
